Naming Names

Isn’t it funny that when conservatives dare to take Republicans to task for not being conservative, we get bashed by the left and the media for not being inclusive, how our tent is too small, how intolerant/radical/far right-wing we are, etc., yet a few Democrats vote against the health care fiasco, and the New York Times basically puts out a hit on them and nothing is said.
That’s because, say what you will about conservatives trying to take back the Republican Party, the left has worked hard — VERY hard — for years to make sure the Democrat Party is as far-left as they come. And it’s a given (to them, at least) that if a Democrat votes against something they hold dear, they will work for their defeat.
Remember, a couple of years ago Daily Kos founder (and ultra-liberal) said of the Democrat Party that “we bought it, we own it, it’s ours”, or something along those lines. The thing is, these people mean it when they say it about their party, but when a conservative dares express the same sentiments towards his party, why, we’re racists or whatever.
Just for the record, if this health care crap passes the Senate, Obama will sign it, and we can kiss this 200+ year experiment in freedom goodbye. Fun while it lasted, I suppose…
